this is the only call of duty i own but its the best one cod 4 was known as the best and there was lots of rumors for a sequel and after call of duty world at war in november 2009 and it truley was the best call of duty and november 2010 call of duty black ops is going to be coming out and i think there is no way that its going to be better so just get cod mw2 because its the only one you need

The first Modern Warfare that came out must have the best action game that I've ever played. I've never seen so much action before!
When Modern Warfare 2 came out, there was no doubt that i would buy it the second it came out. After what the first Modern Warfare offered me, I expected and knew that this game would have twice the action and entertainment.
Get ready for a new characters and new challenges. SOAP is now your captain and you are now new boy ROACH.
The first mission got me off climbing up the icy mountain, which I nearly fell. Then as usual, you go in behind enemy lines and kill people. But that's not even the best part, after being compromised (again) you hijack some snowmobiles and race them down the mountain with tonnes of bad guys and helicopters chasing you. Good luck trying to dodge the trees when you are travelling at a hundred miles per hour on a unstoppable snowmobile.
Overall, other call of duties such as 'World at War' were good for their realistic actions and movement. Modern Warfare 2 is good for the realistic weapons, the characters, its fast pace and entertainment value.

Having never played a Call of Duty game before, I wasn't too sure what to expect as I put the disc into my PS3. I have to say I really blown away. I completed the game in about 7hrs. Normally I don't just play a game from start to finish but this game was so good that I could not stop playing. I have previously played Tom Clancy Rainbow Vegas games and was a fan but have to say that those games pale into comparison to this one. I was completely enthralled from start to finish.
A few slight disappointments were that I found the storyline a little too short and also slightly too easy, but that may have been the level I was playing on....more opportunity for me to redo the game on the hardest level (not now though!)

New to the PS3 and was always a PC mouse/keyboard kinda girl in preference to crappy console controllers. This is the game that forced me to learn to use them properly as all my friends played the PS3 version online. To be honest, the multiplayer element is what it's all about, though I did enjoy the well constructed story (still much to learn from Half Life 2 though there). Multiplayer is well balanced automatically, though I would like some control over which server I connect to. Standard console FPS, but as finely crafted as they come.
