What can I say about MW2?
Once again IW have produced a top class game. If you are looking for the world's best console shooter then this is undoubtedly it.
Character animations, movements, shooting is all slicker than a 1950s hairstyle which makes the game such a smooth experience.
Remember that this is (essentially) a purely online game. It does have a single player mode but buying this game for single player is like buying an ash-tray for a motorcyle. Online multiplayer is where it is at.
Buy it. Enjoy.

In my opinion Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is action packed and has amazing graphics. You can fight in the scrap yard and many more maps with some of the most powerful guns today. The graphics are so realistic it's like you're actually there. Fight to your death. It's immense. It's fun. What more do I need to say?
Single player is ok if you are just starting out because you can practise and get better with the controls. It's just a little boring sometimes when you're not chatting to your mates. It's SO much better online.
Online is the best mode because you get some help from your team mates and it's a lot easier to level up. You can also speak to your mates on headset. The bullets tear through the enemy like a tiger tears through his prey.
This game is for people who like fighting and guns, for 16 and above. Trust me, when you get this game, you won't want to put your remote down!! Go out and buy this game now. What are you still doing here?

Now, obviously the single-player campaign in MW2 is a glorified tutorial for the multiplayer, and in that respect its brevity and variety make it a complete success. But only as a tutorial. As a full price game on its own it kinda stinks the place out.
As for the real deal, I have spent what amounts to twelve whole days on the multiplayer. I've killed over 26,000 noobs and died just under 19,000 times. It goes without saying that all of my kills were down to my elite skills and every single death was down to bad luck. And I know these stats are not impressive, but what an effort it's been to get them. First off, let's discuss lag. The times I've stood there shooting at bullet sponges only for them to casually turn around and kill me immediately. WHY? HOW? The answer is down to a lack of dedicated servers. In MW2 the host is god. If you come up against him he will smite you. And if you do manage to get the better of him, he'll most likely quit and the game will probably fail to migrate and award you with a loss. Now why would it do that other than to infuriate you?
We need to address Commando Pro right now. What compelled a developer to make a knife the most powerful weapon in a first person shooter? I must admit I'm not averse to using the blade for the odd stealth kill myself, but you have these sheep dippers zip-zip-zipping and then stab-stab-stabbing all over the place for an entire match. And you can't kill them because they're invincible while lunging at you. I mean, c'mon, that's some BS right there. Has it been patched in the eight months that the community has been complaining about it? No.
Do you want me to start on One Man Army noobtubers? Oh, I'll start on them but they'll finish the argument with endless grenade spamming and infinite claymores for ten minutes (with Danger Close Pro, naturally). Which leads me on to campers. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against someone holding down an area, but those dweebs who sit in the corner of a room behind a claymore waiting for an unsuspecting beast like myself to come running by need to be banned from online games for life. They must have a better way to spend their time.
And then we come to boosters. So there you are enjoying a Free For All match and you notice the scoreboard is looking awfully suspicious. There's one guy with 18-0 and another with 0-18. And you know what that means. It means spending the rest of the game hunting for the infamous hissing sound of tactical insertions and filthy boosting cheats. We PS3 owners should be grateful that we don't have to endure half of the hacking that our 360 brethren are made to suffer.
Let's end, for now, with Death Streaks. These truly are the summation of everything that's wrong about Infinity Ward's game. So you manage to counter all of the above nonsense and get on a winning streak and what does the game do? It rewards the enemy with painkiller. And when it's feeling really sadistic it rewards the person you've just shot not only with painkiller but also by respawning them metres behind you. Oh, but it does, it really does. You know it does.
So why am I still playing this game in July and giving it five stars? The reason is because for all the times it makes you hate it, it will always draw you back like an abusive partner. An abusive partner who hits you and throws kettle water over you and takes garden shears to all your clothes and ridicules you in public before fluttering his or her eyelids at you and begging you to take him or her back, promising you he or she will change. And every now and then things do change and you get to play the game the way it's meant to be played. So you take it back time and time again and hope that one day it will learn to stop hurting you altogether.
So you think you hate Modern Warfare 2, but you'll still be playing it right up until Black Ops drops because you know that beyond all the frustrations it is online gaming at its absolute finest. And when all else fails, you know what they say, if you can't beat them join them. So when you're at your lowest ebb, load up your cheap custom classes and fight fire with fire. Unless you're lagging badly in which case quit while you're only slightly behind.

This game is a very strong, exciting continuation if the COD:Modern Warfare storyline.There are several improvments upon the first game in the Modern Warfare series here, with very few downsides or shortcomings.
The upsides to the game are as follows:
Improved graphics.
Much more responsive player and weaponry effectiveness and control.
Compelling and involving storyline, full of 'special events' and movie-style cutscenes.
The addition of an all-new Spec Ops mode, a special mode in which players complete challenges to test their skills to the absaloute, with the difficulty ranging from the easily completed, to the nigh-impossible.
The improved multiplayer mode, now practically bursting at the seams with weapons, perks, player insignias and upgrades.
As you can see this game is close to infallible in its completeness, enjoyability and replay value but this game is not perfect, with minor downsides which are:
Weaker storyline than COD:Modern Warfare.
Unfair 'killstreak' system
