Short review July 12, 2010 Ali The games is stunning in terms of graphics, it has an easy to learn button configuration and the story mode is absolutely amazing. I think that if your looking for an action packed online mode you should not buy this game, I say this because frankly it is not action packed and mw2 is what your looking for. But I must say it is the most amazing game to look at. I didn't no games could look this good before. But anyway highly recommended!!!
A big let down July 10, 2010 lman04 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I saw this game and thought it would be good. Its not, people who say its better than call of duty are stupid because its not. The graphics arent anything special and the online is very average. It says work in squads, this is online but nobody does you just get shot by all the people who are at high levels. Wouldn't recommend it because call of duty completely wipes this game off the map.
What did you all Summer? Er Battefield Bad Company2 July 3, 2010 Quibsy (Home Counties) I quite enjoyed the single player but this game excels online. The first Bad Company game had a better single player. The first introduced me to the largely ignored world of multiplayer gaming and this sequel has taken multiplayer gaming to a new height for me and by all accounts, many others. I love the fact that each time I go to this game it's different. A really succesful player needs to adapt to the current situation and this game allows you many possibilities with varying terrain and an array of vehicles. The ability to respawn but also to resuscitate your team, as a medic means that you can turn around a game. Being any of the four soldier types means you have skills that your team might really need - "Who's gonna take out that tank?!" "argh thank goodness for C4".
The destructible environment adds multiple layers to a game eg destroying cover, creating cover. It one of the things that set this game aside from several other shoot em ups.
Using vehicles can also improve gameplay. Flying a Blackhawk in with 4 others and then arming defending and destroying a crate is a sweet feeling.
It can take some investment in time to feel like you can make a difference to a game but you can get stuck in straight away especially if you time your respawn to be alongside a buddy in need.
The sound is great and in 5.1 you can sometimes pick up the enemy sneaking up on your tail.
Like a lot of online games it is addictive and you really don't want the phone to ring or someone at the door disturbing you, not when your buddies need you to lay down some covering fire!!

Got this game for my son after he finished the original Battlefield: Bad Company. He enjoyed it but played through it in a weekend.
